Our general colour coding for wiring looms
With our Full electrical camper conversion kits, we have a colour coding scheme to make the installation of the system as simple as possible and to enable us to provide quick effective help if you have a query whilst installing the system.
This article only deals with 12V colour coding as the mains cable is wired in harmonised colour coordination to comply with regulations.
Below is a table showing what coloured wires we tend to use. This is subject to change depending on the size of the kit and sometimes it can alter if our suppliers are out of stock on certain colours.

| Grey/green/black | Series water pump and tap switch |
| Purple/black | 12V TV |
| Red/black | USBs/12V sockets and AUX feeds |
| Light blue/black | W.C power |
| Pink/black | 12V roof fans |
Please note if your kit was purchased before 16/11/2020, then you may have brown earthing wires. Please connect these in the same way as the black wires. They are clearly marked and declared as 12v earthing wires.
