Update 17/11/2020: November 2020, we've now got a significant amount of our product lines back on the website, but using the quote cart. This is important at present to ensure we've got the stock to fulfil each order. Thank you so much for your understanding.
Update 28/07/2020: July 2020, we've started to add more lines back into our stock and have increased our staff levels at the main workshop. As a result of this, we're still working hard to ensure that we maintain the quality of our systems whilst keeping up with the increased demand, temporarily this may lead to a lead time longer than we would like, but we're working on that! Thanks again so much for your understanding.
Update 26/06/2020: As of this month, we have launched our new online quotes system. Where you can browse the website and add items to your quotation cart. This will help us speed up our processing of orders and allow us to supply more wiring systems. To use this feature for our full & complete wiring kits. We ask that you download a layout form, The details of which can be found here.
Traditionally we take our orders both online via our website and over the phone. We usually have our team of 4-7 technicians working at our workshop near Braintree in Essex, this is where the magic happens and large reels of wire are cut and taped together in all shapes and sizes before being attached to your switch panel and posted out to you, along with your split chargers, mains hook ups, solar panels and everything else electrical.
At present during the Covid-19 outbreak, we are still working from home as per the government recommendations as our workshop is just not practical for social distancing. This is currently working very well and we are upping our capacity back towards normal.
We also don't want to end up with a huge backlog as it's not fair on you guys who have been so supportive thus far having to part with your money and wait around for an ever-increasing amount of time in such uncertain times.
So what we've decided to do is to keep working with you to run through layouts and send out quotes for kits. Then at the start of each week, we will be taking orders for the following week. So at any moment, the time from payment to delivery shouldn't be far over 2 weeks. Makes sense right? This will allow us to better monitor stock, making sure we can fulfil the orders we take and also keep a keen eye on our ever evolving supply chain.
In order to avoid missing out, we will be prioritising customers in the order we gather all of the information we need, this is currently a completed layout form, delivery address and quote. See here for more information on obtaining a quote.
I hope this makes sense and if you have any questions about the order process, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. Have a great day and stay safe!
